Excursion to Antiparos

Just a nautical mile from Paros, the picturesque Antiparos has become widely known in the last few years because it attracts various Hollywood stars.

The island is characterized by the transparent blue waters, beautiful beaches, traditional Cycladic alleys and sophisticated stores. In the nearby uninhabited island of Despotiko there is an archaeological site of great historical importance. The visitor should also see the enchanting cave of Antiparos, which shows traces of human presence from prehistoric years, while its entrance is decorated by the beautiful chapel of Ai-Giannis Spiliotis (St John of the Cave). It has very easy access from Pounta in Paros, since in the summer there is frequent ferry connection till late at night.
